Game-itoba presents – Mini-toba, a Tabletop Games Market and Festival, on Saturday, September 26th, 2026 (at Winakwa Community Club) – Vendor applications are now open!

Join us for a day of gaming excitement at Game-itoba’s Mini-toba Market event where we can highlight vendors and local designers but still offer scheduled games (sign up on site) and our ever popular travel library of at least 200 games.

Where: Winakwa Community Club, 980 Winakwa Rd, Winnipeg, MB R2J 1E7

The Game-itoba team can’t wait for next January’s convention to arrive, so it is excited to host a one-day celebration of tabletop gaming. To be held on Saturday, September 26th at the Winakwa Community Club, the Mini-toba Tabletop Games Market and Festival will feature vendors & artists. There will also be local game designers, scheduled games and open space for people to play games from our mini-library.

Event Highlights:

• Open Gaming: Enjoy plenty of space for open gaming sessions, where you can gather with friends or join in on a game with fellow attendees. Some scheduled games will be announced closer to the event.
• Local Designers Showcase: Discover unique and innovative games created by local designers, and support the growing gaming community.
• Pick-Up-and-Play Library: Dive into our extensive library of board games, where you can try out new titles and rediscover old favourites.
• Marketplace: Explore a diverse array of vendors and artists offering the games, accessories, and gaming merchandise.

When: September 26th, 2026. Doors open 10am, vendors close at 4pm and gaming ends at 8pm

Parking: Community Centre parking lot and street parking.
Transit: Betornay & Howden stops (400m walk to the centre)

Come play games!

We are bringing the Game-itoba Demo Library! That’s around 200 games you can just pick up and play. Our friendly demo team will be there to help you with recommendations and to get you started.

There will be games you can sign up to play on the day, or just bring an old favourite and find a place to play! Check back for the schedule, but expect it to contain many favourite board games and RPGs. Simply sign up in person at the event.

Come join our local designers to playtest their latest games, we are excited to have independent game designers as well as the Manitoba Game Designers group out at our event. Check back later to find out who is coming, so you can play with the designer.
