Dear Fellow Gamers,

Along with many other members of our community, I was hoping we could all come together this November, under one roof, to play tabletop games at Game-itoba 2020.

Unfortunately, this is not a normal year. On behalf of the Game-itoba organizing committee, I must regretfully announce that the 2020 convention has been cancelled.

After reviewing current Manitoba public health orders, and considering the pandemic that we are all dealing with, the committee determined there is no safe way for us to gather in-person and game as a community. I know that I am going to miss enjoying our time together rolling dice, moving game pieces, and drawing cards. But most of all, I am going to miss the camaraderie that we all feel as fellow gamers.

We want to thank you all for your support of Game-itoba and to let you know that this is not the end of the road, just a detour. We fully plan to host Game-itoba 2021 in November 2021, as long as the situation permits at that time. I hope to see you there.
